GUBI is a Danish design company, founded in 1967 by Lisbeth and Gubi Olsen. In 2001, the company was taken over by their son Jacob Gubi Olsen who has made his mark on the business, propelling the GUBI brand into the forefront of design.
GUBI is dedicated to celebrating the luxury of living life. Working with renowned architects and designers, GUBI is continuously searching the world for designs that combine elements of the past and the present. Each GUBI design considers the balance between visual elegance and functionality.

LIGHTING: THE GRAVITY COLLECTION
Designed by Space Cophenhagen, the Gravity collection consists of a small and large table lamp and floor lamp. Blending understated elegance, clean functionality and effortless style to create ambient and subtle lighting.
LIGHTING: 1965 PENDANT
Designed in 1947 by Paavo Tynell, known as the great pioneer of Finnish lighting design. The 1965 Pendant was designed for the Finland House in New York and was one of the most ambitious and successful projects of all time to showcase Finnish design. Characterised by its triangular perforation pattern, the 1965 Pendant reflects Tynell’s distinguished craftsmanship.
SEATING: MASCULO DINING CHAIR WITH WOOD BASE
Designed by GamFratesi, the characteristic Gubi Masculo Chair is taken to a new level, introduced with a wood base. The distinctive backrest expresses an almost aggressive masculinity, whilst the nest wooden frame simultaneously embraces with quasi-feminine detailing.Now available in oak, smoked oak, black stained ash and oiled American walnut.
SEATING: THE MODERN LINE COLLECTION
Designed by Greta M. Grossman and recently re-launched, the Modern Line Collection is now available in dining height. A luxurious yet understated seating solution, perfect for restaurants and cafes.
The Modern Line Collection is one of Grossman’s most elegant and minimal designs. Featuring slender, tubular legs and a light, feminine expression, it is a signature in Scandinavian design.
SEATING: GMG CHAISE LONGUE
Designed in 1951 by Greta M. Grossman. The GMG Chaise Longue mirrors the body’s natural curves and is perfectly angled for lounging whilst preserving all the streamlined qualities of a mid century design.

TABLES: THE MODERN LINE SIDE TABLE
Designed by Greta M. Grossman, first produced in 1949. The Modern Line Side Table successfully combines lightness and functionality. Suitable as a coffee table, a side table or occasional table when extra space is needed. The linoleum table top is available in different colour options. Paired below with the GT chair, another timeless design by Greta M. Grossman.
