Vin Populi
Hospitality
Located in Fremantle’s historic West End, Vin Populi’s architecture pays tribute to the affluence and optimism of the gold rush era.
Nestled within the Central Park Lobby, Hemingway Café features a minimalist design by Woods Bagot that enhances the space’s lightness and elegance. With seating for 29 and a standing area accommodating up to 50 patrons, the café’s interior showcases a neutral colour palette of grey and beige tones, accented by deep blue and marble details.

Curved architectural elements, including pillars and walls, along with circular furnishings, soften the design, creating a modern and sophisticated aesthetic. This inviting ambience reinforces a sense of community and provides a seamless visual connection to the surrounding park landscape.
Hemingway’s interior offers a variety of spaces, supporting casual socialising and formal gatherings alike. Among the array of furniture supplied by designFARM, the Dowel Jones Thimble stools stand out for its compatibility with the café’s modern and sleek style, as well as their playful allure.
Their light, stackable nature not only enhances mobility and durability but also integrates effortlessly into the space, contributing to the venue’s adaptable and dynamic ambience.
