Carlo Bartoli’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Stadt Museum in Cologne, as well as in New York, Prague, Hong Kong, Athens, and Buenos Aires. Notably, the Gaia armchair is part of the permanent collections at MOMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, and the 4875 chair is displayed at the National Arts Museum of the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
Bartoli Design received the XXI Compasso d’Oro ADI award in 2008 for the R606Uno chair, and in 2016, Carlo Bartoli was honored with the XXIV Compasso d’Oro ADI Career Award. The studio was also featured on a set of Italian postage stamps titled “Italian Design for a New Domestic Landscape.”
