Objects for Thought (Oft) was founded by artists and designers Jay Jermyn and CJ Anderson, positioning their lighting and objects within an aesthetic future.

Bound by intuition, they work with the freedom to create pieces that may look different but feel right, achieved through industrial shapes, materiality, and a refined vision. Oft was conceived in spaces of deep thought and conversation, and this informal, conversational approach remains a guiding principle. Negating convention and fashionable expectations, Oft translates its contemporary thinking into physical forms, producing lighting, furniture, and objects for both residential and commercial clients.

The brand’s first collection, the Rider Range, features a cohesive suite of lighting defined by simplistic elegance. A glass dome, the characteristic feature of the Rider, is repeated in Single, Double, Triple, and Quad variants to create an adaptable collection for any project. The dome offers a sense of wholeness, a rounded softness that is delicate to the eye.
