Village Green
Public Space
Waterford Plaza in Karawara has been reimagined as Village Green, a contemporary urban village that breathes new life into the area.
Brightwater, a prominent provider of aged care and disability services in Western Australia, led a project in collaboration with Dale Alcock Homes to create the first dedicated Huntington’s Disease Campus. This campus includes seven individual villas, each designed to meet the specific needs of residents with Huntington’s Disease.
For the complete furniture package, the project management company ADRAS reached out to designFARM. The package featured a different colour scheme for each villa, making it easy for residents to recognise their own space.
designFARM worked closely with the Brightwater team to bring their vision to life, selecting custom fabrics and furniture tailored to the project’s needs. All items were locally made in Western Australia, which allowed for quick turnaround times without compromising on quality.
The timber-framed and timber-cladded villas include three accessible bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, SDA-compliant kitchens, and advanced technology, all designed to create a community environment where residents can engage in daily activities.
