Designed in collaboration with Studio MK27, the repetitive sticks of the back and the paper cord braided armrests draw inspiration from patterns found in classic bamboo constructions and tatami mats. These elements are combined with hallmarks of traditional Danish cabinetmakers’ furniture – subtly referencing the masterpieces of Børge Mogensen, Hans Bølling, and Finn Juhl. The deep, low sofas are designed for lounge environments, with a beautifully detailed rear structure that makes them ideal not only against a wall but also as a striking feature in the centre of a space.
